BilingualBility™ Overview

As a full service language solution provider (LSP), we continue to challenge ourselves in the innovation and development of products and services that anticipate our clients changing needs. To meet the growing demand for validating the language ability of both existing personnel and prospective candidates, aLanguageBank invested in the development of our internal proprietary language testing methodology called BilingualBility™ in 2003. The design and objective of BilingualBility™ is to establish a standardized quantitative process to verify the proficiency level of the bilingual candidates. This testing system is currently used for both external clients as well as validating internal linguistic resources for our translation and interpretation projects. The test design includes three components: writing, oral, and reading comprehension of the tested language pair.

BilingualBility™ Online

The BilingualBility™ Online solution, currently in development, is designed to bring bilingual language testing into the digital era. This online testing platform will allow examinees from anywhere in the world to take the test needing only a computer, microphone, webcam and broadband internet. The registration protocol’s built-in authentication process will validate the identity of examinees. Based on our extensive competitive research, the BilingualBility™ Online system is the first of its kind to include built-in fraud protection.
