Translation

We believe translation should be more than a word-to-word interpretation of the original text.  An accurate comprehension of the source language should lead to a “transcreation” into the target language within the cultural context.  While many factors affect the target language, our project managers are trained to determine those specific details right away to ensure the highest quality deliverables. 

All of our translators are native speakers of their target language.  It is also our policy to require two linguists per project.  The first will translate the text utilizing any glossary or terminology reference resources provided.  A second linguist edits the translations reviewing the grammar, spelling, accuracy, fluidity and appropriateness of the material for its intended audience.  Subsequently, additional linguists will be used, if needed, until our project manager feels confident that the final translation we deliver is not merely correct, but meets our client’s objective.
