Hospitals all across the United States use voice-prompts, call menus, and interactive voice response systems (IVR) with patients and consumers. For about a decade, aLanguageBank has been working with Vericom to help many of those hospitals provide such systems in languages other than English.

Vericom wants hospitals to build “life long, indispensable relationships” with consumers. We translate the English prompts and audio material. We then find appropriate multilingual voice-over talent and record the audio in studio. Most importantly, we make the wording and tone fit the context each audio file is used in.
